Longstanton is a vibrant multi-sports club, catering for a wide range of activities and interests, from competitive excellence to relaxed enjoyment.

Its well equipped and comfortable social areas provide the varied settings for those who seek either an enthusiastic club atmosphere to unwind, or the chance to watch and chat with friends and acquaintances over a pleasant drink or an informal barbecue.

Our sports manager will look after individuals or organise special sports events for groups or provide coaching opportunities for beginners and improvers. We place an equal emphasis on provision and development for young girls and women's sports. The club is also the home of the Camsight Blind Cricket Club.

prides itself on the quality of its facilities. Situated in 8 acres of tree lined grounds, the cricket ground hosts County Premier League Cricket in which our 1st XI plays, it also is a regular venue for County representative matches, and hosts an annual County Super Max festival.

Two full sized soccer pitches host our five soccer teams which are in the Cambs Premier League. Our tennis courts are floodlit allowing extended use at times convenient to you. Our tennis club and the bowls club play in the County leagues, and the snooker and pool teams compete regularly in their leagues. Cricket nets, a bowling machine, a tennis ball feeder and regular coached practice evenings from the club’s qualified coaches make for a good introduction to any game or smooth transition into any of our teams. The quality of our facilities means our grounds are regularly used by the Institute of Groundsmanship for training courses.

We have a flourishing well supported youth section with football and cricket teams for Under 11 and Under 13’s. Over the next two years we will be setting up teams to cover all age groups from 9 to 16 years, and provision is made for young people to play tennis and bowls.

Longstanton Sports and Social Club is a non-profit making private members club with over 300 members. It has a long record of reinvesting any surplus in those activities which its members and teams request, whether social or sporting, with an emphasis on youth and excellence. We have recently established a cricket academy for example, to help our talented young players to go to the very top.
